Job Description
Job Title: Quality Control Intern Role Summary: An entry‑level position focused on supporting quality inspection and testing processes within manufacturing operations, providing hands‑on exposure to quality systems, product testing, and continuous improvement initiatives. Expectations: - Gain practical experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment. - Learn quality inspection methods, documentation, and data analysis. - Contribute to quality projects and support quality staff across pre‑, post‑, and in‑process testing. - Develop communication, teamwork, and project‑management skills. Key Responsibilities: • Shadow quality inspectors, specialists, and technicians during product transitions from paper to build. • Observe and assist in component inspection and testing within the quality control laboratory. • Support pre‑manufacturing, post‑manufacturing, and product testing activities. • Participate in ad‑hoc quality projects assigned by the quality team. • Attend quality meetings, training sessions, and vendor visits. • Provide status updates on tasks, meetings, and projects. • Perform administrative tasks as needed. Required Skills: - Fast learner, self‑motivated, capable of driving projects independently. - Attention to detail, flexibility, and strong written & verbal communication. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. Required Education & Certifications: - Currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program in engineering, manufacturing management, or a related field. - Prior manufacturing or production experience is preferred.
