Job Description

Job Title: Frontend Engineer Role Summary: Owns the development of a data‑rich, institutional UI for a fintech derivatives platform. Designs and builds reusable components, implements scalable patterns, integrates REST or GraphQL APIs, and collaborates closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high‑quality features rapidly. Expatations: - 2+ years of modern frontend development experience. - Demonstrated proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js. - Proven ability to manage state with Redux or an equivalent library. - Strong grasp of UI architecture, performance optimization, and performance testing. - Experience working with serverless AWS services and CI/CD pipelines. - Excellent communication skills and a proactive, ownership mindset. Key Responsibilities: - Design, prototype, and implement responsive UIs for data‑heavy financial workflows. - Build and maintain a library of reusable React components and hooks. - Integrate front‑end with Python/Python‑Java microservices through REST/GraphQL APIs. - Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into pixel‑perfect interfaces. - Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and provide technical guidance to peers. - Optimize bundle size, rendering performance, and overall application speed. - Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning. - Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and advocate for best practices.
