Job Description

Job Title Software Engineer Intern Role Summary Part‑time internship (10–25 hrs/week) focused on creating and maintaining structured test cases, supporting QA efforts, reproducing and documenting bugs, and providing technical assistance across backend and frontend components. Requires solid technical fundamentals and the ability to read and understand code, but no deep platform‑specific expertise is required. Expectations - Undergraduate or recent graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Detail‑oriented and highly organized with strong test documentation skills. - Comfortable reading and understanding code; able to troubleshoot and document bugs. - Able to work independently in a remote environment with reliable internet. - Willing to collaborate closely with Product and Engineering leadership. Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and maintain structured test cases for platform features and workflows. - Reproduce reported issues, conduct root‑cause analysis, and document results for QA and release readiness. - Assist with technical tasks across the product, including backend and frontend support as needed. - Work closely with Product and Engineering leaders, including the CTO and EVP of Product, to align testing and release objectives. - Contribute to the improvement of documentation and internal processes related to testing and release quality. Required Skills - Java - Relational databases - Git and modern development workflows Nice to Have Skills - Spring framework - Angular - MongoDB, MySQL Required Education & Certifications - Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Device & Remote Work Requirements - Windows or macOS computer capable of running VPN and remote desktop software. - Reliable internet connection.
