Job Title: Senior AEM Developer
Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Adobe Experience Manager solutions, including components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and integrations with external APIs. Optimize performance, ensure robust CI/CD pipelines, and support AEM Cloud Service or on‑premise deployments.
Expectations:
- Senior‑level expertise in AEM 6.x and/or AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Proven track record delivering reusable, high‑quality components and applications.
- Strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams (UX, QA, DevOps, business analysts).
- Self‑directed problem solving in a fast‑moving, scalable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, and OSGi.
2. Build reusable components, enforce coding standards, and adopt best practices for performance and security.
3. Customize AEM Sites, Assets, and Forms; configure AEM Dispatcher and caching strategies.
4. Design, implement, and consume REST APIs, convert data between JSON and XML, and coordinate integrations with external systems.
5. Manage CI/CD pipelines (Git, Maven, Jenkins); oversight of deployment to Dev, QA, Staging, and Production environments.
6. Collaborate with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe I/O Runtime for advanced data and event management.
7. Provide mentorship to junior developers and act as a technical lead on AEM initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Adobe AEM 6.x / AEM Cloud Service proficiency
- Java, J2EE, OSGi, Sling, HTL (Sightly)
- Front‑end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React preferred)
- RESTful services, JSON, XML
- Source control & build: Git, Maven, Jenkins
- CI/CD pipeline configuration
- Familiarity with dispatcher, caching, and deployment automation
- Strong debugging, testing, and documentation capabilities
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) – Adobe Experience Manager (optional but preferred)
