Job Description
Job Title: Head of Retail Experience & Training Role Summary: Oversee global retail experience and training for a luxury leather goods brand. Lead the translation of product, communication, and merchandising strategies into launch plans and retail activations. Partner with regional and global teams to optimize store atmosphere, client journey, and operational budgets. Build and roll out comprehensive training programs for product knowledge, storytelling, and selling skills. Expectations: - Deliver measurable improvement in in‑store customer experience and sales performance. - Achieve defined KPI and ROI targets for retail activations and learning initiatives. - Ensure consistent brand experience across all retail locations worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Translate global strategy into launch plans; develop and manage event calendar and activation guidelines. - Coordinate A&P needs, OPEX budgeting, and tools for packaging, uniforms, gifting, music, and scent. - Define and implement a worldwide VIC (Visitor‑In‑Store Experience) strategy across client segments. - Partner with Client & CRM to establish global gifting and loyalty experiences. - Create and maintain training content: technical books, masterclass videos, morning briefings, induction days. - Consolidate product launch plans, create product‑news documents, gather and share regional feedback. - Build KPI framework with regional trainers and monitor training effectiveness. Required Skills: - Minimum 10 years in luxury retail or related sector. - Proven experience designing and executing in‑store experience and activation programs. - Expertise in e‑commerce, visual merchandising, clienteling, and CRM integration. - Strong analytical, presentation, and problem‑solving abilities. - Fluency in English and French (written and spoken). - Leadership experience managing cross‑functional teams across regions. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field (preferred). - Certifications in Retail Management, Training & Development, or Luxury Brand Strategy (preferred).
