Job Title: Investment Associate Role Summary Support the flagship investment team in identifying, evaluating, and managing venture‑ and growth‑stage energy technology investments. Collaborate with investors, entrepreneurs, and portfolio companies across all stages of the investment cycle. Expactations * Contribute to the full investment workflow from source to exit. * Serve as a self‑directed, high‑energy operator capable of balancing analytical rigor with a passion for sustainable technology. * Maintain a forward‑looking, climate‑centric perspective while strengthening professional relationships internally and externally. Key Responsibilities 1. Identify investment themes and source opportunities within the renewable energy and climate‑tech sectors. 2. Execute comprehensive due diligence, including detailed financial modelling, valuation analysis, and risk assessment. 3. Research and analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments. 4. Prepare and deliver concise, data‑driven investment committee presentation materials. 5. Monitor portfolio performance, conduct periodic reviews, and assist with ongoing administration and reporting. Required Skills * Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis in Microsoft Excel. * Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint for clear communication of investment theses. * Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to synthesize complex information. * Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, self‑motivation, and meticulous attention to detail. * Collaborative team player, open to diverse viewpoints, and resilient in high‑pressure environments. * Passion for climate change mitigation and the climate‑tech ecosystem. Required Education & Certifications * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or related field. * Strong academic record (e.g., GPA 3.5+). * Relevant professional experience: 1–3 years in investment banking, equity research, strategy consulting, private equity, or venture capital. * No mandatory industry certifications required, though familiarity with financial modeling and valuation techniques is essential.
