Job Description
**Job Title** Data Analytics Intern **Role Summary** Support the Business Analytics and Portfolio Management teams by conducting market intelligence, developing data models, and creating dashboards to inform pricing, competitor performance, and market expansion decisions. **Expectations** - Graduate student currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or accounting. - Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights. - Strong communication skills to present analyses to stakeholders and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop a commodity‑to‑car type correlation model using published indices to forecast utilization rates. - Identify and evaluate pricing leading indicators and incorporate them into predictive models. - Build interactive dashboards tracking key performance metrics for industry competitors. - Research and validate new market intelligence sources to enhance existing reporting frameworks. - Participate in team meetings, provide status updates, and contribute to continuous improvement of analytics processes. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data visualization). - Experience with PowerPoint for effective presentation of findings. - Basic knowledge of SharePoint for data management. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrollment toward a Bachelor’s degree (business, economics, finance, accounting). - No additional certifications required; familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL) is a plus.
