Job Description
**Job Title** Business System Analyst – Various Platforms **Role Summary** Conduct business analysis, system design, configuration, and implementation across multiple enterprise platforms. Lead requirement gathering, testing, and go‑live activities; support post‑deployment operations. Coordinate cross‑functional teams, drive process improvements, and provide technical escalation support. **Expectations** - Deliver end‑to‑end solutions from functional definition to production turnover. - Manage multiple concurrent projects in a global, matrixed environment. - Apply both waterfall and agile methodologies. - Travel up to 30 % for client and vendor engagements. **Key Responsibilities** - Gather, document, and validate business and system requirements. - Produce detailed technical designs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. - Configure packaged or integrated systems, manage data conversion, and orchestrate system integration. - Execute unit, system, and acceptance testing; track and resolve defects. - Coordinate enterprise change management for system revisions. - Provide escalated technical support and troubleshoot production issues. - Create training materials and conduct knowledge transfer for end users and IT peers. - Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery. - Continuously identify and propose process improvements to add value. **Required Skills** - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) for documentation and communication. - Experience with software development life cycle, including requirements, design, testing, and deployment. - Hands‑on configuration of packaged enterprise systems and cloud solutions. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence stakeholders. - Self‑motivated, adaptable to fast‑paced change, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. - MBA or advanced degree preferred. - No specific certifications required; familiarity with ITIL, PMP, or similar project management frameworks is a plus.
