Job title: Informatica Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and optimize Informatica ETL solutions for a multi‑terabyte Oracle Exadata data warehouse supporting large‑scale healthcare data integration. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality, reusable ETL components; maintain coding standards; enforce data privacy; document processes; troubleshoot production issues; collaborate with data modelers, DBAs, and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Build, test, and deploy ETL workflows, mappings, and reusable components in Informatica PowerCenter. - Apply Informatica development standards (no hard coding, mapplets, reusable objects). - Automate manual operational tasks to improve efficiency. - Optimize, troubleshoot, and debug complex ETL jobs; tune performance with DBAs. - Execute unit and integration tests to ensure data integrity. - Perform data profiling, validation, and cleansing using Informatica Data Quality. - Maintain operational documentation and support pre‑/post‑production issues. - Implement secure coding principles and adhere to data privacy regulations. - Use Informatica Test Data Manager for test data creation. Required Skills: - 5+ years with Informatica PowerCenter. - 5+ years with Oracle and PL/SQL, strong performance tuning. - 2+ years scripting (Python, Shell). - 2+ years data analysis experience. - 2+ years healthcare data (Medicaid, Medicare, Exchange). - Experience in data modeling for large data warehouses. - Proficiency with Informatica Data Quality, Test Data Manager. - Knowledge of database design, performance optimization, and secure coding. - Excellent problem‑solving and independent team collaboration. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Informatica PowerCenter Developer certification (preferred).
