Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer Intern Role Summary: Intern will support software development and machine‑learning initiatives for power and manufacturing projects, applying modern development practices and basic computer‑vision techniques. Expectations: Complete all assigned tasks within the internship term, adhere to coding standards, participate in project meetings, and deliver a final presentation to management summarizing contributions and learnings. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain software components using contemporary development tools (Git, CI/CD pipelines). - Implement machine‑learning and computer‑vision solutions aligned with business objectives. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, design architecture, and review code. - Produce technical documentation and assist in knowledge transfer. - Present project progress and results to stakeholders, culminating in a final internship report. - Contribute to team initiatives and support philanthropic activities. Required Skills: - Proficient in at least one high‑level programming language (Python, Java, C++). - Experience with source‑control systems (Git) and agile development workflows. - Basic understanding of machine‑learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and computer‑vision concepts. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities. - Ability to work independently and in collaborative team environments.
