**Job Title:**
Project Director – Design & Construction (MOE) – Tramway / High‑Service Bus (BHNS)
**Role Summary:**
Lead and direct large‑scale tramway or BHNS projects from design through construction, managing an integrated multidisciplinary MOE team. Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, financial, technical, and regulatory requirements while maintaining high‑quality client communication and delivering project objectives.
**Expactations:**
- Minimum 15 years of experience in project direction, studies or works for transport infrastructure or urban mobility systems.
- Proven ability to manage large, complex, multidisciplinary teams and multi‑stakeholder environments.
- Strong negotiation skills with public authorities, concessionaires, and other partners.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract and risk management (MOP, CCAG, etc.).
- Excellent oral and written communication; proactive, dynamic, and adaptable.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate and control actions across all project poles (design, engineering, specialist disciplines).
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment with contractual, technical, regulatory, financial, and risk objectives.
- Implement and enforce quality management procedures and control plans.
- Allocate and size resources appropriately in collaboration with pole managers.
- Manage project finances: budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
- Prepare and deliver client reporting (schedules, cost status, risk updates) based on consolidated information from pole leads.
- Conduct contract reviews, kickoff meetings, and regular project review sessions.
- Oversee contract administration: change orders, traceability, client alerts, and compliance documentation.
- Serve as central point of information, ensuring decisions and updates are communicated throughout the team and to the client.
- Strengthen commercial relationships with the client and project partners.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep knowledge of all phases of transport and infrastructure projects (design, construction, commissioning).
- Mastery of French public procurement and contract law (MOP, CCAG Travaux) and related normative frameworks.
- High‑level leadership and operational team‑management capabilities.
- Strong financial management and budgeting expertise.
- Advanced risk and opportunity management.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
- Superior written and verbal communication in French and English.
- Proactive, dynamic attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Engineering degree (Civil, Transport, Urban Planning, or equivalent) or comparable higher education qualification.
- Professional project‑management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
- Additional certifications in contract management or infrastructure engineering are a plus.
