Job Description
**Job title:** Director, Technology, Data & Cybersecurity **Role Summary:** Lead the design, implementation, and stewardship of CDEV’s enterprise IT, data, AI, and cybersecurity capabilities. Own the cloud‑first architecture, data governance, and cybersecurity posture to ensure secure, resilient, and cost‑effective technology services for the organization and selected subsidiaries. Partner with senior leadership to integrate digital transformation initiatives, elevate operational efficiency, and align technology strategy with corporate objectives. **Expectations:** - Deliver a 3‑year technology roadmap aligned with corporate strategy. - Demonstrate leadership in cloud, data, and security domains within a complex, enterprise environment. - Drive cross‑functional collaboration with finance, operations, legal, and external partners. - Maintain high service availability, compliance, and risk management standards in a hybrid work setting. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Technology Strategy & Architecture:** Define and execute a secure, scalable, cloud‑first architecture (Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Defender, Huntress), including identity, access, and collaboration platforms. Set standards for solution selection, vendor, and partner management. - **Data & Analytics Governance:** Implement data governance policies, data quality controls, and a consolidated reporting stack (Power BI, Power Automate). Own M365 information architecture, retention, and e‑discovery. - **Cybersecurity & Risk Management:** Lead cybersecurity initiatives against NIST CSF, manage incident response, vulnerability management, phishing testing, and vendor security reviews. Develop and maintain security policies, playbooks, and compliance controls (FAA/TB, OAG). - **Service Delivery & MSP Governance:** Oversee Managed Services Provider operations—establish SLAs/SLOs, conduct QBRs, monitor service health, and control costs. - **Stakeholder Collaboration:** Work with CAO, CFO, and executive team on major platform decisions, digital strategy, and modernization efforts (ERP implementation, tool assessment, vendor management). **Required Skills:** - Cloud architecture (Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Defender). - Data governance, data quality, Power BI, and reporting tooling. - Cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SSAE 18). - Incident response, vulnerability assessment, phishing awareness. - Vendor management, contract negotiation, and SLAs. - Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management capabilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. - Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) preferred. - Minimum of 8 years of progressive technology leadership experience. - Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent. - Security‑related certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, or CISM highly desirable.
