**Job Title** Real Assets Intern – Real Estate Debt & Equity **Role Summary** Full‑time (40 hrs/wk, Aug 2026 – Jan 2027) internship supporting the Real Assets Debt and Equity groups. Interns assist in loan origination, valuation, servicing, and portfolio management of commercial real estate and low‑income housing assets, contributing to capital deployment and risk management at a global asset‑management firm. **Expectations** - Full‑time enrolled undergraduate student (Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline). - Must not have completed the bachelor’s degree or graduate before internship end. - Demonstrated independent work ethic and strong teamwork capability. **Key Responsibilities** *Real Assets Debt (3 interns)* - Perform discounted cash‑flow valuations and market analysis for commercial real‑estate loan opportunities (~$2 B portfolio). - Draft loan applications and supporting materials for loan committee presentations, highlighting property, market, and borrower risks. - Observe and take notes during committee meetings and investor conference calls. - Assist Debt Asset Managers with special borrower requests: develop servicing action memos, lease reviews, and workout strategies; conduct additional DCF analysis. - Maintain loan management system data, process annual inspection reports, and support tax/valuation analysts with borrower/property data retrieval. *Real Assets Equity (2 interns)* - Manage a $4.5 B low‑income housing portfolio: analyze quarterly/annual financial statements; review partnership and loan documents; consolidate new investment data. - Prepare site inspection forms and engage with developer partners on construction, leasing, and operational performance. - Support investor due‑diligence and portfolio management activities; ensure accurate data entry in management systems and produce investor reports. - Participate in investment opportunity discussions, risk management sessions, and strategy development. **Required Skills** - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (advanced functions). - Detail‑oriented, analytical mindset. - Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work autonomously or collaboratively. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled full‑time undergraduate student in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. - No certifications mandatory; academic coursework sufficient.
