Job Description
Job Title: Senior Implementation Specialist Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end onboarding for large group insurance cases (50+ lives), coordinating with underwriting, sales, client services, and external partners to ensure timely, accurate submissions and client satisfaction. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality implementation services in a fast‑paced environment, maintaining meticulous detail, proactive problem‑solving, and effective cross‑functional communication. Key Responsibilities: - Manage new large case and product submission requests from sales consultants, advisors, and client relationship specialists. - Apply deep knowledge of group insurance and underwriting processes to handle moderately complex to complex assignments with limited guidance. - Partner with regional offices, VP, and sales teams to build and maintain positive client and advisor relationships across Canada. - Develop and implement best practices for new case and product submissions, including collection of group master application, advisor compensation forms, and census data. - Exercise independent judgment on significant matters within defined procedures to determine appropriate actions. - Maintain accurate documentation, data entry, and workflow in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Required Skills: - 7–10 years in group insurance, underwriting support, or client relationship management. - Strong collaboration, interpersonal, communication, and training skills. - Meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving mindset. - Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight deadlines. - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for data and documentation management. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post‑secondary qualification. - Preferred: Project Management Institute (PMI) certification or equivalent (e.g., CEBS). - Excellent understanding of underwriting processes is a plus.
