**Job Title** Senior BI & Insights Consultant **Role Summary** Executive‑facing analytics leader responsible for converting curated, enterprise‑scale data into trusted, actionable Power BI dashboards and narratives that guide senior decision‑making across digital and operational domains. Works downstream of data product teams, focusing on visualization quality, storytelling, and stakeholder communication rather than pipeline engineering. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑impact, executive‑ready reporting artifacts on schedule. - Ensure dashboards are scalable, maintainable, and widely adopted. - Communicate data assumptions, limitations, and insights clearly to non‑technical senior leaders. - Partner proactively with product, operations, and analytics stakeholders to align reporting with business goals. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards using modern UX/UI principles. - Create executive‑level visual narratives and user‑ready reporting assets. - Perform final data aggregation, shaping, validation, and performance tuning of large datasets (tens of millions of rows) using SQL and DAX. - Apply light data‑engineering practices focused on downstream optimization. - Explain data models, joins, and logic in business terms; address timelines, trade‑offs, and blockers. - Serve as a trusted advisor on performance metrics, adoption, and insight interpretation. **Required Skills** - 3+ years experience developing interactive Power BI dashboards for business stakeholders. - 3+ years advanced SQL proficiency for data transformation and validation. - Strong data‑visualization, storytelling, and modern UI/UX design expertise. - Ability to translate complex data concepts into clear, actionable narratives for senior leadership. - Excellent oral and written communication; comfortable presenting to executive audiences. - Experience preparing datasets specifically for BI and executive consumption. - Knowledge of DAX, data modeling basics, and performance tuning for large datasets. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, **or** equivalent professional experience. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are preferred but not mandatory.
