Job Title: Sales Business Analyst
Role Summary:
Provide data‑driven insights and reporting for the sales organization by building, maintaining, and optimizing dashboards, models, and CRM data. Support forecasting, quota setting, territory planning, and performance metrics across sales, marketing, and finance functions.
Expactations:
- 3+ years of experience in sales analytics, operations, or business intelligence.
- Deliver accurate, real‑time dashboards and models that inform strategic and tactical decisions.
- Communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders, including executives.
- Continuously improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and analytics workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and HubSpot custom reports for KPI, pipeline, forecasting, and sales performance visibility.
- Develop advanced Excel models (Power Query, pivot tables, complex formulas, data automation).
- Analyze sales activities, lead quality, deal velocity, win/loss patterns, and revenue trends to identify risks and opportunities.
- Ensure data integrity across HubSpot and related systems for accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership to refine forecasting models, quota structures, and performance metrics.
- Provide insights for territory planning, customer segmentation, and compensation modeling.
- Support CRM optimization: process efficiency, data cleanliness, and HubSpot tool adoption.
- Partner with Marketing for lead funnel reporting, campaign attribution, and ROI analysis.
- Coordinate with Finance on revenue projections and financial reporting requirements.
- Present dashboards and insights to stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
- Identify reporting gaps, propose automation and process enhancements, and document best‑practice guardrails.
Required Skills:
- Expert Excel: advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, data modeling.
- Proficient in Power BI: data transformation, DAX, dashboard design, publishing.
- Deep knowledge of HubSpot reporting (custom reports, dashboards, pipeline analytics, lifecycle reports, attribution).
- Strong understanding of CRM systems, lead management, and sales funnel metrics.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret and convey sales KPIs to diverse audiences.
- Experience in B2B, technical, or scientific services sales environments.
- Additional assets: SQL, Python, or other BI/analytics tools.
- Background in forecasting, revenue operations, or sales enablement.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, or related field.
- Certifications are a plus: Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Excel (MOS), HubSpot Sales/Marketing Software, or similar.
