Job Description
Job Title: ServiceNow Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and implement custom solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including workflows, forms, UI policies, and business rules, while integrating with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs. Expectations: - 7–18 years of direct ServiceNow development experience. - Proven expertise in ITSM modules (Incident, Change, Problem, Service Catalog). - Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting skills. - Hands‑on experience with REST/SOAP API integrations. - Demonstrated problem‑solving, analytical, and communication abilities. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop ServiceNow applications and modules. - Customize workflows, forms, UI policies, and business rules. - Create and maintain client scripts, business rules, script includes, and other server‑side code. - Implement and configure Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, and Change Management solutions. - Integrate ServiceNow with third‑party systems using REST/SOAP APIs. - Troubleshoot platform issues and provide timely resolutions. - Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions. - Produce and maintain clear documentation and adhere to best practices. Required Skills: - Deep knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and its architecture. - Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting. - Experience with ITSM modules and Service Catalog configuration. - Understanding of ServiceNow workflows, business rules, and UI policies. - Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs for integration. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) is preferred but not mandatory.
