Job Description: Job Title: Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer Role Summary: Lead the design, migration, and operation of secure, scalable Azure cloud solutions for large‑scale public sector initiatives. Own end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and performance optimization while collaborating with architecture, security, and ops teams. Expactations: Minimum 5 years in Azure Cloud Services and 5 years in a DevOps role. Proven hands‑on experience (3 + years) with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Functions, Terraform (IaC). Strong familiarity with network security (VNets, NSGs, gateways). Mandatory public‑sector experience. Preference for containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and additional cloud or network certifications. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement secure, scalable Azure architectures. • Lead cloud migration and modernization projects. • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and IaC scripts. • Collaborate with architecture, security, and operations teams to align solutions with business and compliance goals. • Drive automation, performance tuning, and reliability enhancements. • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance. • Mentor cross‑functional teams and contribute to cloud strategy and best practices. Required Skills: • Azure core services, migration, and architecture. • Terraform and other IaC frameworks. • CI/CD tooling and automation (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, load balancing, firewalls). • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) – preferred. • Monitoring, logging, and performance tuning. • Cloud security fundamentals and compliance requirements. Required Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field. Relevant Azure certifications (AZ‑303, AZ‑400) and network or virtualization certifications (CCNA, CISA, etc.) are preferred. Public sector experience required.
