Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer Role Summary: Develop and maintain high-performance derivatives trading platforms for institutional clients. Collaborate globally across Asia-Pacific, USA, and UK teams to design secure, compliant systems meeting client and regulatory requirements. Expectations: - Proficient in Java and Python development for mission-critical trading systems. - Experience with FIX protocol integration, order lifecycle workflows, and CI/CD pipelines. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement client-facing features and technical designs. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop platform features to support global electronic trading workflows. - Conduct architecture, code, and security reviews with global teams. - Maintain and troubleshoot existing systems, addressing performance and compliance needs. - Write acceptance tests alongside QA teams. - Provide L3 user support and interface with onboarding/algorithmic trading teams. - Contribute to agile sprint planning and future architecture roadmaps. Required Skills: - Java development expertise (core language/enterprise features). - Python development experience for system scripting and automation. -FIX protocol knowledge for trading system integration. - Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments. - CI/CD toolchain experience (Maven, Gradle, Jenkins). - Regulatory awareness (MiFID2 transaction reporting compliance). - Strong cross-functional communication and project prioritization.
