Job title: Sales Operations & Strategic Accounts Manager
Role Summary:
A dual‑phase role combining sales forecasting, operational alignment, and progressive ownership of large B2B accounts within the automotive lighting and electrical product sector. The incumbent drives accurate demand planning, revenue tracking, and cross‑functional collaboration before transitioning into key account leadership.
Expectations:
- Deliver reliable monthly/quarterly forecasts and revenue reports for key SKUs and customers.
- Manage pricing, margin analysis, and account performance updates.
- Align demand with supply, finance, and purchasing.
- Gradually assume full responsibility for top strategic accounts, leading pricing, forecasting, and expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Own sales forecasting, revenue tracking, and KPI reporting.
2. Analyze customer ordering patterns, seasonality, and trends to refine forecast accuracy.
3. Coordinate with purchasing, sales, finance, and supply chain to balance demand and supply.
4. Support dynamic pricing, margin analysis, and account performance reviews.
5. Liaise with national sales representative agencies to harmonize priorities and initiatives.
6. Present clear sales insights to leadership on a monthly/quarterly basis.
7. Transition to primary relationship manager for large strategic accounts.
8. Conduct pricing negotiations, forecasting discussions, and account planning with key customers.
9. Identify and execute expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
10. Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
Required Skills:
- Advanced analytical abilities; expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis tools).
- Strong communication and structured presentation skills, capable of earning trust internally and externally.
- Proven cross‑functional collaboration with operations, finance, supply chain, and sales teams.
- Ability to manage multiple high‑value accounts and support complex pricing/forecasting processes.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Relevant certifications in sales operations, data analysis, or project management are a plus.
