Job Description
Job Title: Graduate Software Tester Role Summary: Collaborate with agile teams to validate TGW Warehouse Control System software meets technical and business requirements through manual and automated testing, defect analysis, and on-site commissioning support. Expectations: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related STEM field. - Academic project or internship experience in software development/testing or technical requirements. - Foundational experience with analytical/problem-solving tasks. - Basic proficiency in SQL/Oracle, Python, Java, XML, or version control tools. - Team collaboration skills from academic/work environments. Key Responsibilities: - Design test scenarios/specifications from product backlogs and requirements. - Execute manual testing of WCS software via emulation tools. - Support on-site commissioning tests for integrated physical automation systems. - Assist with customer Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). - Log and analyze defects in Jira, collaborating with developers for resolution. - Apply SQL/XML to support testing and automated configurations. - Support test planning/reporting in TestRail within agile workflows. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail. - Manual and automated testing methodologies. - Intermediate SQL (Oracle) and XML skills. - Familiarity with Python/Java and basic version control (e.g., Git). - Problem-solving and technical documentation abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related STEM discipline. - Coursework/project experience in programming, databases, or system development preferred.
