Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer
**Role Summary**
Lead end‑to‑end development, configuration, and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Sales) CRM for a UK pension service provider. Works with Business Analysts and delivery teams to translate functional requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions, ensuring alignment with existing architecture and governance standards.
**Expectations**
• Own complete solution lifecycle: design, build, test, release, and ongoing support.
• Deliver robust, high‑quality integrations, data migrations, and security configurations.
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders, providing technical guidance and ensuring user‑centric adoption.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Dynamics, Power Platform, Azure, and Microsoft 365 ecosystems.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, configure, and customise Dynamics 365 entities, forms, views, dashboards, and business process flows.
- Build and extend platform capabilities using plugins, workflows, JavaScript, Power Platform components, and Azure services.
- Develop and manage integrations with Microsoft 365, external systems, and APIs.
- Lead data migration, upgrade, and deployment activities across multiple environments.
- Implement and maintain security roles, permissions, and environment governance.
- Manage solutions through ALM processes, including build, release, and support.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions and estimate effort.
- Troubleshoot, optimise, and enhance existing CRM functionality while adhering to quality assurance standards.
- Contribute to technical documentation, standards, and knowledge sharing; support adoption through user‑focused solutions.
**Required Skills**
- Extensive hands‑on experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / Power Platform solutions, including ALM strategies.
- Proven track record of Dynamics 365 migrations, upgrades, and custom application development.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft technology stack (Dynamics, Azure, Power Platform, Microsoft 365).
- Expertise in designing workflows, business process flows, and custom plugins/components.
- Experience in Agile/DevOps delivery environments; proficiency with Azure DevOps backlog and release management.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
- Eligibility for security clearance.
**Desirable Skills** (non‑essential)
- Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) experience.
- Integration of Dynamics with APIs or third‑party systems.
- Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Teams, and enterprise‑scale CRM deployments.
- Capability to deliver technical training or facilitation sessions.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant Microsoft certificates preferred (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Sales Functional Consultant, Dynamics 365 Developer).
