**Job Title** Category Manager Digital Commerce (H/F/X) **Role Summary** Drive category growth and profitability across the Right Store and white‑space retail environment, focusing on both 1P and 3P e‑commerce marketplaces (Amazon, other platforms). Lead the development and execution of the commercial plan, pricing, promotion, and visibility strategies, while coordinating cross‑functional teams and building strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers. **Expectations** - Deliver measurable high‑level results on varied markets with different maturities. - Establish credibility and influence among senior stakeholders in retail and e‑commerce. - Demonstrate success in account management, category strategy, and pricing optimisation. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Commercial Planning & Execution** – Own the commercial plan for assigned customers, negotiating and implementing sales strategies. 2. **Portfolio & Promotion Management** – Maintain and develop growth plans; design and execute assortment, pricing, and promotion calendars for 1P & 3P channels. 3. **Cross‑Functional Coordination** – Act as liaison between the client and internal functions (Supply Chain, Marketing, Digital Acceleration, Agencies, etc.). 4. **Pricing & Gross‑to‑Net Management** – Manage pricing structures, SKU rationalisation, and forecast accuracy in partnership with supply‑chain teams. 5. **Data Analysis & Reporting** – Analyse market dynamics, competitor activity and key performance indicators; provide regular reports to senior leadership. 6. **Stakeholder Relationship Building** – Develop and nurture long‑term partnerships with buyers, category managers, and other key decision‑makers. 7. **Budgeting & Forecasting** – Prepare accurate budgets, forecasts and review financial performance against targets. 8. **Presentation & Communication** – Deliver clear presentations to all organisational levels, summarising insights, plans and results. **Required Skills** - Account management in retail/e‑commerce environment. - Category management with demonstrable success. - Strong negotiation and influencing skills. - Effective verbal and written communication; ability to present to senior executives. - Proficiency in data analysis (e.g., Vendor Central, Seller Central, Excel, Power BI). - Cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder management. - Budgeting, forecasting and financial acumen. - Problem‑solving and strategic planning. - Fluency in English; proficiency in French is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related discipline. - Preferred: professional certifications in Supply Chain (CSCP, APICS) or Digital Commerce/Marketing (e.g., Google Analytics, Amazon Seller Certification).
