**Job Title**
Senior Network Engineer (Male/Female)
**Role Summary**
Design, implement, operate, and secure critical LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, and inter‑site networks for a large, multi‑domain IT environment. Lead complex troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating across systems, cybersecurity, and application teams.
**Expectations**
- Deliver high availability, performance, and security for all network services.
- Resolve level‑3 incidents and coordinate corrective actions.
- Update technical documentation and maintain up‑to‑date reference materials.
- Drive technology evaluation, architecture reviews, and solution selection.
- Mentor junior staff and external technical contractors.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain operational readiness of LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, and internet access.
- Administer Cisco, F5, Aruba, Palo Alto, and other network/security devices.
- Participate in the design and deployment of new architectures (NAC, segmentation, data‑center, etc.).
- Integrate security, scalability, and resilience requirements into network designs.
- Coordinate with systems, cyber, and application teams for cross‑functional projects.
- Conduct architecture reviews and guide solution selection.
- Lead and support technical teams, providing mentorship and technical expertise.
- Perform proactive technology monitoring and contribute to continuous improvement plans.
**Required Skills**
- 15+ years of network engineering and architecture experience.
- Expertise in BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VPN, QoS, and related routing & switching concepts.
- Strong knowledge of firewalling, DMZ, proxy, NAC, and general IT security practices.
- Proficiency in network devices: Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba (and similar).
- Experience with dynamic routing, network segmentation, and traffic shaping.
- Solid programming/automation skills (Ansible, Python) preferred.
- Cloud platform familiarity (Azure, AWS, GCP) appreciated.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication abilities.
- Demonstrated autonomy, rigor, and collaborative mindset.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) or higher in IT/Computer Science.
- Cisco CCNA mandatory; higher certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) highly valued.
- Certifications in security (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNP Security) are advantageous.
- Continuous learning and up‑to‑date certifications beyond baseline.
