Job title: Senior Frontend Developer (React/TypeScript)
Role Summary:
Lead development of user‑centric features for AXON, a real‑time digital supply‑chain twin SaaS solution. Own end‑to‑end delivery from requirement capture through production, ensuring high‑quality, performant, and maintainable front‑end code. Collaborate closely with product, design, and back‑end teams to translate business needs into scalable UI components and data‑rich interfaces.
Expectations:
• 3–4 years of professional front‑end development experience, preferably in a product or long‑term consulting environment.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and proactive problem solving.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills considered an advantage.
• Passion for tackling large data sets and complex business logic.

Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with product owners, UX designers, and back‑end developers throughout the agile development cycle.
• Design, build, test, and ship new features and improvements that meet user experience and performance standards.
• Write clean, testable, and well‑documented TypeScript code, following best practices and coding conventions.
• Optimize rendering and data handling for large volumes of supply‑chain data, ensuring responsiveness and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members.
• Monitor feature performance in production, diagnose bottlenecks, and implement fixes.
• Communicate progress, risks, and blockers transparently to stakeholders, facilitating timely decision‑making.
• Continuously research and evaluate new front‑end technologies and frameworks to keep the product modern and efficient.
Required Skills:
• Proficient in React (including hooks, context, and advanced patterns).
• Strong TypeScript skills; understanding of type‑safe architecture.
• Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, or similar).
• Familiarity with modern front‑end tooling (Webpack, Vite, Babel).
• Ability to work with REST or GraphQL APIs and design data fetching strategies.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Performance tuning, memoization, virtualization, and lazy loading techniques.
• Version control with Git, branching strategies, and CI/CD integration.
• Good problem‑solving, debugging, and profiling skills.
• Optional: Experience with Nest.js or Node.js for backend collaboration.
Required Education & Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
