Job Description

Job title: Senior Developer Role Summary: Senior developer leading technical design, code quality and innovation within an Agile product team. Responsible for building and maintaining high‑performance, secure .NET applications while mentoring peers and interfacing with business stakeholders. Expectations: Deliver robust, scalable solutions that comply with secure SDLC practices. Drive architectural decisions, reduce technical debt, and ensure continuous delivery pipelines operate smoothly. Key Responsibilities: - Lead architecture and design of new technical standards and patterns. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development team members. - Own and drive change initiatives and innovation projects. - Present technical information to senior executives and external stakeholders. - Participate in, and where appropriate, lead agile ceremonies with business teams. - Write clear, maintainable code and automated tests (TDD/BDD/ATDD) to address technical debt. - Conduct peer code reviews and ensure adherence to SOLID principles. - Troubleshoot and triage production issues, supporting mitigation and remediation. Required Skills: - Expert in C#, .NET, and .NET Framework. - Proficient with SQL database development. - Experienced with React.js, JavaScript, and testing frameworks such as Jest. - Strong understanding of Agile development and iterative delivery. - Knowledgeable in TDD/BDD/ATDD, OOP, and SOLID. - Skilled in DVCS using Git and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Artifactory). - Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and complex data integration. - Excellent communication, stakeholder collaboration, and peer review abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
