Full Stack Software Engineer, Vice President – Corporate Functions Technology
**Role Summary**
Individual contributor responsible for end‑to‑end design, development, testing, and operation of enterprise‑grade, cloud‑native full‑stack applications that modernize Internal Audit workflows. Drives technical decisions, enforces engineering standards, and integrates AI/ML capabilities while ensuring security, compliance, and operational resilience.
**Expectations**
- Deliver high‑quality, secure, and scalable software solutions on schedule.
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and mentorship.
- Maintain production reliability, observability, and cost‑effective cloud operations.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, audit, AI, data, and security teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead design and implementation of complex front‑end (component‑driven, accessible UI) and back‑end services (RESTful APIs, microservices).
- Architect cloud‑native solutions using containers, horizontal scaling, and resiliency patterns; manage IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate AI/ML models into user workflows, implement telemetry, evaluation controls, and human‑in‑the‑loop safeguards.
- Develop data access layers for SQL/NoSQL and lakehouse platforms (e.g., Databricks); support scheduled analytics processes.
- Enforce secure coding practices, identity/access controls, audit logging, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Own production support, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement of monitoring, alerting, and logging.
- Influence technical roadmaps, prioritize technical debt, and promote modern engineering practices.
**Required Skills**
- Full‑stack development expertise (JavaScript/TypeScript, React or similar; Java, C#, Node.js, or comparable back‑end).
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker).
- CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), automated testing, and observability tools.
- API design (REST/GraphQL) and data integration (SQL, NoSQL, lakehouse).
- Experience embedding AI/ML services into applications; familiarity with model monitoring.
- Strong security and compliance knowledge for regulated enterprises.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Kubernetes Certified Administrator) are a plus.
