**Job Title:** Senior Business Intelligence Expert – Hybrid
**Role Summary:**
Senior BI expert responsible for architecting, building, and optimizing enterprise data warehousing and BI solutions. Drives end‑to‑end data flow from ingestion to reporting, ensures high data quality, and advises on database design, performance, and governance. Leads research into emerging technologies (AI/ML, data virtualization, cloud BI) to continuously improve analytical capabilities.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 10 years of experience in data warehousing, relational/non‑relational databases, and ETL.
- Proven expertise in BI platforms (SAP BO, QlikSense) and data quality management.
- Familiarity with PowerBI and modern data architecture frameworks.
- English fluency; no work permit provided (contractor role).
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement ETL processes and data ingestion pipelines.
- Develop and maintain enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and data lakehouses.
- Create dashboards and reports with SAP Business Objects, QlikSense, PowerBI, and emerging BI tools.
- Provide database design, performance tuning, and data architecture advice.
- Implement data governance, access controls, and quality assurance procedures.
- Conduct research on new technologies (AI/ML, big data, data virtualisation, cloud BI).
- Gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and record in documentation.
- Perform data profiling and quality testing.
**Required Skills:**
- Advanced SQL and data modeling.
- Proficiency in ETL/BI tools: SAP BO, QlikSense; additional experience with PowerBI.
- Data quality management and governance.
- Understanding of near real‑time warehousing and change data capture.
- Knowledge of data architecture frameworks and graphical representation.
- Experience with MS‑Fabric, Python scripting, AI/ML analytics optional.
- Awareness of cloud BI platforms, Linked Data, AI concepts.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Certifications: Microsoft Data Analyst Associate, Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate, Amazon Certified Data Analytics Specialty, or equivalent BI‑tool specific certificates.
- Project management certificates are advantageous.
