**Job Title**
CRM & Client Portal Application Lead
**Role Summary**
Responsible for the operating availability, performance and continual improvement of the CRM and Client Portal stack, including EDI, within the Application Services Directorate of a global aerospace and defense company. Acts as a bridge between business users, IT teams and external vendors to ensure solutions meet business requirements and evolve with emerging technologies.
**Expectations**
- Deliver 24/7 operational support for CRM and Client Portal applications.
- Drive application enhancements, migrations and new environment deployments.
- Maintain alignment of IT architecture with business processes.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge base and configuration management for the portfolio.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage incident and service request lifecycle (identification, diagnosis, resolution).
- Oversee day‑to‑day operation: monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning.
- Define functional architecture and technical standards for CRM/Portal solutions.
- Lead project‑phase work: requirements gathering, scope definition, resource planning.
- Coordinate with business users, developers, platform architects and external vendors.
- Ensure documentation, knowledge transfer and configuration management are accurate.
- Participate in change management, release planning and post‑implementation reviews.
- Work across multiple disciplines to support platform re‑platforming, migration, and integration initiatives.
**Required Skills**
- Business analysis & requirement elicitation in cross‑functional environments.
- Project management (planning, execution, stakeholder communication).
- Deep expertise in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce) and Client Portal technologies (Drupal, ReactJS).
- Integration experience with AWS, Microsoft PowerPlatform, SharePoint, Teams, Mulesoft, Talend, SAP ERP, MDM, EDI.
- Development knowledge: JavaScript, C#, .NET.
- System architecture, SI urbanisation and technical documentation.
- Problem‑diagnosis and troubleshooting of complex technical issues.
- Fluent in English (written & spoken).
- Effective communication, service‑oriented mindset, assertiveness, empathy, organisational rigor.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Minimum Master’s (Bac+5) in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
- ≥5 years of experience leading digital projects and maintaining CRM/Portal solutions.
- Relevant certifications in Dynamics (or Salesforce), Microsoft Azure/AWS Cloud, or project management (PMP/Prince2) preferred.
