Job Description
**Job Title:** Data Project Manager **Role Summary:** Lead and coordinate data‑focused projects for a services‑sector client, ensuring delivery within defined quality, cost, and schedule parameters. Define performance indicators, oversee governance structures, and guarantee the accuracy of reported information. **Expectations:** - Master's degree (BAC+5) in a quantitative or engineering discipline. - Minimum 1 + year proven experience as a Data Project Manager; prior role as Data Analyst is a plus. - Solid understanding of data concepts (Data Warehouse, Data Lake, ETL, Data Governance). - Proficiency with Agile and Waterfall (V‑cycle) project methodologies. - Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Pilot and coordinate all project stakeholders. - Draft functional specifications and project deliverables. - Monitor and enforce quality, cost, and timeline objectives. - Define, track, and update project KPIs. - Ensure the correctness of data presented to stakeholders. - Organize and facilitate governance forums (e.g., steering committees, project committees). - Identify and raise alerts or anomalies promptly. **Required Skills:** - Data architecture knowledge (DW, DL, ETL, governance). - Project management expertise (Agile, Waterfall). - Technical tools: SQL, JIRA, Power BI, Tableau (or similar BI tools). - Analytical thinking and problem‑solving. - Leadership, stakeholder management, and effective communication. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master's degree (BAC+5) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Project Management, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Scrum) are advantageous but not mandatory.
