**Job title** Cybersecurity Advisor I **Role Summary** Provide frontline cyber threat detection, incident response, and advisory support to managed services customers. Collaborate with the Cybersecurity Advisor team and operations to improve client security posture, deliver tactical reports, and facilitate technology onboarding. Serve as a trusted advisor, building long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders and translating technical solutions into actionable business outcomes. **Expectations** - Serve as a key point of contact for customers, demonstrating a deep understanding of security products and industry trends. - Deliver accurate, contextual customer deliverables, including executive briefings and operational scorecards. - Proactively identify and resolve risks, ensuring rapid mitigation and client satisfaction. - Contribute to the Managed Services roadmap by gathering client requirements and providing product‑gap insights. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Advise and recommend security improvements to Rapid7 customers, coaching on product usage and ROI. 2. Triage alerts with analysts, assist in incident response, and communicate findings to clients. 3. Prepare high‑quality, tailored customer deliverables (reports, executive summaries, action plans). 4. Promote and support the Rapid7 Platform, coordinating with support for issue resolution. 5. Manage technology deployment and onboarding for new clients. 6. Build advisory relationships with technical teams, project managers, and C‑level executives. 7. Gather and influence Managed Services service roadmap based on client feedback. 8. Identify potential risks in client relationships and develop proactive mitigation strategies. **Required Skills** - Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage technical and executive audiences. - Proficient in common enterprise technologies; adaptive to new security platforms. - Demonstrated client relationship management experience. - Organizational excellence and effective time‑management. - Analytical and problem‑solving mindset suitable for complex security scenarios. - Familiarity with security frameworks, threat landscapes, and vulnerability management concepts. **Required Education & Certifications** - Associate’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience. - 2–3 years of experience in Information Security or related discipline. - Industry certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, Cloud+, or CCSP preferred. ---
