Job Description

Job title: Founding AI Engineer Role Summary - Lead AI engineering from inception in a fast‑moving AI startup. - Design, build, and maintain autonomous AI agents that drive real‑time supply‑chain automation. - Own end‑to‑end product development, from conceptualizing workflows to deploying production models. Expectations - Deliver production‑grade AI systems within a dynamic, early‑stage environment. - Build and iterate at speed; keep learning and pivot when necessary. - Communicate complex technical concepts to founders, product, and customers. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement AI‑driven agents for real‑time operational workflow automation. - Integrate large‑language‑model (LLM) frameworks (e.g., DSPy, LangChain) into business processes. - Orchestrate, monitor, and optimise agent performance using observability and feedback loops. - Build resilience through fail‑safes, self‑healing, and fallback mechanisms. - Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure real‑time, accurate data pipelines. - Deploy human‑in‑the‑loop mechanisms where needed for compliance and safety. Required Skills - Advanced Python programming. - Hands‑on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (DSPy, LangChain, or equivalent). - Proven track record of building and optimizing AI agents in production. - Strong understanding of data pipelines, API integrations, and workflow orchestration. - Ability to implement reliability safeguards and telemetry for AI systems. - Excellent problem‑solving, first‑principles thinking, and independent ownership. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field. - Relevant certifications in AI/ML engineering preferred.
