Job Description

Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine‑learning solutions that enable rapid, data‑driven decision making in high‑stakes operational contexts. Expectations: Deliver production‑ready ML models, drive continuous improvement through research, and collaborate closely with domain experts and product teams to identify high‑impact opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Shape the AI direction of the organization by building scalable ML pipelines and prototypes. - Translate complex problem statements from mission‑critical domains into robust machine‑learning solutions. - Apply state‑of‑the‑art research in NLP, GenAI, computer vision, and reinforcement learning to maintain a competitive edge. - Partner with military, product, and engineering teams to prioritize features, validate assumptions, and align on roadmaps. - Ensure end‑to‑end model lifecycle management (data ingestion, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring). - Publish findings and share best practices within the engineering community. Required Skills: - 5+ years of professional machine‑learning experience, including modeling, prototyping, and evaluation. - Strong programming skills in Python; experience with FastAPI, Typescript, and React frameworks. - Expertise in working with open‑source large language models and production‑grade ML infrastructure. - Solid software engineering fundamentals with a focus on rapid delivery, maintainability, and scalability. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate effectively in cross‑functional teams. - Proven ability to keep current with cutting‑edge research and apply it to real‑world problems. Required Education & Certifications: - MSc (or equivalent) in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
