Job Title: OT Cybersecurity Engineer (Operational Technology)
Role Summary
Provides cybersecurity expertise for Industrial OT projects, primarily through vendor management, risk assessment, and architecture design. Works within the Cyber Security Department to apply ISA/IEC 62443 standards, ensuring compliance and secure integration of OT solutions across engineering, procurement, and commissioning phases.
Expectations
- 3–5 years of hands‑on OTA or OT cybersecurity experience in industrial settings (oil & gas, energy, infrastructure, or similar).
- Demonstrated knowledge of OT networks, control systems, and IEC 62443 security frameworks.
- Ability to conduct risk workshops, evaluate vendor solutions, and review architecture designs.
- Strong communication skills for interfacing with vendors, engineering teams, auditors, and stakeholders.
- Proven exposure to project life‑cycle processes, documentation, and deviation management.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead OT vendor selection, onboarding, and compliance monitoring.
• Define technical and non‑technical documentation (procedures, specifications, test scenarios).
• Coordinate and manage deviations from contractual requirements.
• Facilitate OT risk assessment workshops per ISA/IEC 62443.
• Review and validate OT architecture proposals, ensuring adherence to security standards.
• Provide technical advice to Engineering, Procurement, and Commissioning teams.
• Participate in project meetings, report status to Information Security PM and Head of Information Security.
• Support cyber risk management, compliance, and assurance activities within industrial projects.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in ISA/IEC 62443 security standards.
- Experience with OT platforms (SCADA, DCS, PLC, HMI) and vendor product evaluation.
- Vendor management and contract compliance expertise.
- Risk assessment facilitation and workshop leadership.
- Documentation and technical writing for procedures, specifications, and test plans.
- Knowledge of project management processes and documentation tools.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder‑management abilities.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security or related field.
- Professional certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, IEC 62443‑x Expertise (specific modules), OT Security (CBK), PMP or similar project management credential.
