**Job Title**: Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer
**Role Summary**:
Design, implement, operate and govern hybrid and multi‑cloud infrastructure solutions at enterprise scale, focusing on automation, migration, and lifecycle management across on‑prem and public cloud environments.
**Expectations**:
- Architect end‑to‑end hybrid cloud strategies.
- Deliver scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure.
- Collaborate across consulting, delivery, and technical teams to meet client goals.
- Continuously update knowledge of cloud services, virtualization, and automation tools.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Participate in architecture and design reviews for hybrid, multi‑cloud initiatives.
- Configure, provision, and manage compute, storage, network, and database resources on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Lead data center and cloud migrations, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance.
- Develop and maintain IaC scripts (Terraform, Ansible) and configuration management templates.
- Implement and manage container platforms (OpenShift, EKS, AKS, GKE).
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure performance and cost.
- Enforce governance, security, and compliance policies across environments.
- Document designs, processes, and best‑practice guidelines.
**Required Skills**:
- Strong foundational knowledge of datacenter, networking, compute, and storage concepts.
- Hands‑on experience with VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix, or similar virtualization platforms.
- Proficiency in cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP): deployment, security, monitoring, and cost management.
- Automation expertise in Terraform, Ansible, or comparable IaC tools.
- Experience with container orchestration (OpenShift, EKS, AKS, GKE).
- Ability to analyze requirement, design architecture, and develop implementation plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teams.
**Required Education & Certifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant cloud certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
- Certifications in infrastructure automation or virtualization (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Red Hat Certified Engineer) are a plus.
