Job Description

Job title: Software Engineer (Senior Backend Engineer) Role Summary: Own and evolve scalable backend systems in Python or Typescript, building robust APIs and data workflows that integrate seamlessly with external services. Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to automate code generation, then refine and solidify the resulting production‑ready code. Expectations: Execute end‑to‑end projects with full ownership and autonomy; demonstrate leadership in architectural decisions; routinely use AI tools (Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot) in daily workflows; collaborate closely with cross‑functional engineering and AI teams. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and maintain high‑performance APIs and distributed services in Python or Typescript. • Build and extend data pipelines, ensuring reliability and scalability. • Integrate with external systems via REST, GraphQL, or other protocols. • Adapt and improve auto‑generated code and pipeline outputs to meet production standards. • Mentor peers on best practices, coding standards, and AI‑tool utilization. • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD setup, and performance optimization. Required Skills • 5+ years of backend development experience, strong command of Python and Typescript. • Proficient with SQL, PostgreSQL, and relational database design. • Proven experience building APIs, distributed systems, and microservices. • Hands‑on with AI‑assistive tools (Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot) and comfortable integrating them into workflows. • Demonstrated leadership in full‑cycle project delivery. • Solid understanding of software architecture patterns, containerization, and cloud deployment. Required Education & Certifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent professional experience). • No mandatory certifications; relevant knowledge of Python/Typescript frameworks and cloud platforms preferred.
