Job Title: Inside Sales Associate Role Summary: Drive revenue growth and client retention across a portfolio of 500+ UK-based B2B customers in the cross‑border payments sector. Manage account expansion, new client acquisition, and ongoing portfolio optimization through data‑driven outreach and collaborative marketing initiatives. Expectations: - Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas and portfolio growth targets. - Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and retention rates. - Deliver consistent, accurate reporting of CRM metrics and KPIs to leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Own a managed portfolio of 500+ clients, conducting regular account reviews and implementing engagement frameworks. - Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities using centrally generated data and analytics. - Collaborate with marketing to launch retention, win‑back, and growth campaigns. - Promote and support a self‑service model on the company platform to improve customer efficiency. - Handle mid‑office support queries and maintain detailed CRM records of all interactions. - Actively pursue new business using leads from marketing and SDR teams; conduct outreach via phone, email, and other channels. - Deliver product demonstrations, explain features, benefits, and pricing, and maintain thorough lead tracking. - Leverage customer referrals to generate additional business prospects. - Complete all product and process training promptly; stay current on industry trends and competitor activity. - Monitor and report on performance metrics (call volume, conversion rate, sales quota attainment) within the CRM. Required Skills: - 2+ years of progressive B2B inside sales and account management experience, preferably in financial services, fintech, or payments. - Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly. - Proven goal‑oriented mindset with a record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. - Autonomous performer who thrives in fast‑paced, multi‑priority environments. - Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales enablement tools. - Tech‑savvy, comfortable leveraging digital tools to enhance sales efficiency. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). - Any sales or industry‑specific certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified, Financial Services Sales certification) advantageous but not mandatory.
