Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust (the Trust) was legally established on 1st November 1993, and is based at Darent Valley Hospital, in Dartford, Kent. We pride ourselves on our high quality innovative standards of care and are very happy to have expanded our services locally to include Queen Mary's Hospital and Erith & District Hospital since 1 October 2013.

Darent Valley Hospital
It offers a comprehensive range of acute hospital based services to around 270,000 people in Dartford, Gravesham, Swanley and Bexley. The hospital opened in September 2000 and now has around 463 inpatient beds and specialties that include day-care surgery, general surgery, trauma, orthopaedics, cardiology, maternity and general medicine. We provide patients with the latest technology for their treatment in safe, comfortable and clean surroundings. The hospital's team of over 4000 professional and friendly staff provide care for patients across a full range of day-patient, in-patient and out-patient care.

Queen Mary's Hospital
Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust took over the running of certain services on 1st October 2013. These include:
Day surgery, gynaecology and paediatrics (elective day surgery and outpatient services);
Diagnostics, including CT scans, ultrasound and x-ray;
Therapies, including physiotherapy and occupational therapy.

Erith & District Hospital
Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust took over the running of services on 1st October 2013.

**Job Title:** Clinical Lead for Lung Cancer **Role Summary:** Clinical leadership role overseeing a lung cancer screening program, ensuring patient safety, strategic program development, stakeholder collaboration, and compliance with national data requirements. **Expectations:** Provide 2 part-time clinical sessions weekly, lead program governance, and maintain data-sharing protocols across primary and secondary care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Direct strategic development and implementation of lung cancer screening programs for targeted populations. - Collaborate with primary care, the Programme Director, Steering Group, and clinical stakeholders (e.g., Radiologists, Responsible Assessors) to ensure program delivery. - Oversee data systems for eligibility, selection, scanning, and reporting to national datasets per NHS mandates. - Scrutinize governance, commissioning arrangements, service specifications, and KPIs for compliance. - Report outcomes to NHS England via the K&M Cancer Alliance and ensure mandatory data submission. **Required Skills:** - Clinical leadership and strategic program management. - Patient safety and quality assurance expertise. - Stakeholder coordination and governance oversight. - Experience in data management and national reporting standards. **Required Education & Certifications:** - MBBS or equivalent medical degree with full GMC registration (UK CCT or equivalent for non-UK trained). - MRCGP or MRCP (or equivalent) qualification.
