**Job Title:** Legal Intern – IT, Data Protection & Commercial Contracts **Role Summary:** Six‑month internship within the Legal team of a fast‑growing fintech, providing hands‑on support on commercial contracts, data‑protection compliance, AI‑related legal guidance, and corporate matters. The role combines independent research, drafting, and cross‑functional advisory for Sales, Technology, and other operational teams. **Expectations:** - Demonstrate strong analytical and drafting abilities on complex contractual and regulatory issues. - Work autonomously while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. - Identify legal risks and deliver clear, actionable recommendations. - Contribute to internal legal training and culture‑building initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Review, analyze, and draft commercial agreements, including SaaS vendor contracts. - Support implementation and upkeep of data‑protection policies, privacy notices, DPA’s, and processing activity records. - Draft or update internal guidance and compliance recommendations for AI‑driven solutions. - Provide legal advice to operational teams (Sales, Tech, etc.). - Assist with corporate legal tasks: prepare board minutes, resolutions, handle corporate formalities, and maintain corporate records. - Participate in legal training sessions, process documentation, and knowledge‑sharing activities. **Required Skills:** - Excellent written and verbal communication; strong drafting skills for complex contracts. - Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively. - Strong analytical mindset for risk identification and mitigation. - Proactive, curious, and initiative‑driven with a “can‑do” attitude. - Solid understanding of IT contract law, data‑protection regulations (GDPR), and emerging AI‑related legal issues. - Team player with collaborative orientation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Completed CRFPA (or equivalent) and optionally enrolled in a PPI program, **or** currently pursuing a Master 2 in IT Law, Business Law, or a related discipline. - Strong academic record in relevant legal fields. - Prior experience in a law firm or fintech/SaaS environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
