Senior Linux Engineer
**Role Summary**
Senior technical engineer responsible for designing, maintaining, and securing the company's global Linux‑based infrastructure. Works within a cross‑platform platform engineering team to support investment operations and technology initiatives across data centres, cloud environments, and offices worldwide.

- Continuously enhance security posture and operational reliability.
- Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to integrate new services.
- Apply best practices in configuration management, CI/CD, and automation.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and maintain global network, operating systems, security policies, and infrastructure.
- Provide core network services across data centres, cloud, and global offices.
- Improve security framework for large‑scale, fast‑paced environments.
- Design, implement, and integrate infrastructure systems on Linux platforms.
- Use diagnostic tracing tools for host and network level troubleshooting.
**Required Skills**
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience with extensive Linux expertise.
- Proficiency in Python development; knowledge of Rust, Java, C, Go, C#.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills (host and network level).
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.).
- Familiarity with automated build, deployment, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in DNS, DHCP, Kerberos, network protocols, information security concepts.
- Knowledge of databases, large‑scale storage, and Windows/Linux interoperability.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical discipline (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, Red Hat Certified Engineer, or similar Linux credentials) are a plus.
