Job Description
**Job Title:** Quality Assurance Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead end‑to‑end quality assurance activities for new projects from RFQ through product delivery, serving as the primary customer contact for quality matters. Drive continuous improvement, establish metrics, and ensure products meet defined specifications and regulatory standards. **Expectations:** - Act as the main liaison with customers on quality issues. - Travel domestically and internationally (5‑10%). - Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead cross‑functional problem‑solving teams; conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions. - Define, track, and report quality performance metrics. - Develop and enforce quality standards, control plans, and inspection procedures for critical features. - Support creation of product specifications, tolerances, and conduct design/process FMEAs. - Review and disposition nonconforming material; manage discrepancy investigations. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency with QA tools: fishbone diagrams, FMEA, process capability analysis, hypothesis testing, Design of Experiments (DoE), Statistical Process Control (SPC). - Experience with diverse measurement and inspection techniques. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Demonstrated experience with automotive manufacturing quality systems. - Relevant quality‑system training or certifications (e.g., ASQ CQE, Six Sigma) preferred but not mandatory.
