Job Description

Job Title: Senior Security Engineer Role Summary: Serve as the primary escalation point for advanced security investigations, orchestrate MSSP services, and strengthen the multi‑cloud security posture (AWS, Azure, GCP). Bridge technical security operations, cloud security engineering, and compliance governance to align with ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2, and CMMC frameworks. Expectations: • Provide Tier 3 incident response and lead forensic investigations. • Own Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and end‑to‑end vulnerability management lifecycle. • Design and deploy security controls across IaaS, PaaS, and FaaS environments, implement Zero Trust architecture, and manage DLP and encryption strategies. • Map technical controls to regulatory frameworks and lead audit evidence collection and validation. Key Responsibilities: - Act as primary technical contact for MSSP/SOC providers, ensuring SLA/SLO compliance. - Lead Tier 3 escalation support for complex security incidents. - Own CSPM across AWS, Azure, and GCP. - Drive vulnerability management (e.g., Qualys) and remediation. - Design and deploy security controls for IaaS, PaaS, and FaaS. - Implement Zero Trust principles across IAM and network layers. - Manage DLP and encryption strategies. - Map controls to ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2, and CMMC frameworks. - Lead audit evidence collection and validation. Required Skills: - Advanced SOC/Tier 2–3 incident response expertise. - Strong SIEM, XDR, and EDR platform experience. - Deep understanding of AWS, Azure, and GCP security controls. - Expertise in vulnerability management lifecycle. - IAM, encryption, and Zero Trust architecture knowledge. - Ability to communicate security risks to non‑technical stakeholders. Required Education & Certifications: - CISSP (or equivalent). - Professional‑level cloud security certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Experience in regulated environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, CMMC). - Proven multi‑cloud security experience across at least two major providers. - Hands‑on vulnerability management ownership. Preferred Qualifications: - GCIH, GCFA, or GCTI. - OSCP or CREST certification. - Threat hunting or forensic certifications. - Qualys certification. - Enterprise DLP platform experience.
