**Job Title**
Functional IT Controlling Analyst – Apprenticeship
**Role Summary**
Support the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the ERP controlling module (SAP) for a construction and engineering group. Work closely with business, finance, logistics, HR, and IT teams to ensure effective cost control, budgeting, revenue tracking, and profitability analysis across domestic and international sites.
**Expectations**
- Enrolled in a Bac+4/5 (Bachelor‑Master) program in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to synthesize complex requirements.
- Good oral and written communication in French and fluent English.
- Prior internship or project experience in IT, digital or controlling.
- Willingness to travel as required for international project phases.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Pilot ERP design projects to integrate building, civil engineering, and road activities.
2. Lead cross‑functional workshops with business and IT stakeholders to capture requirements and validate solutions.
3. Deploy and configure SAP controlling modules in France and selected overseas locations (UK, Germany, Australia, New Zealand).
4. Facilitate testing, change management, and end‑user training for ERP modules.
5. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements to improve adoption and performance.
6. Monitor and report on controlling metrics (budget, profitability, monthly close).
7. Collaborate with logistics, finance, HR, and operational applications to align data flows and processes.
8. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for internal processes and ERP best practices.
**Required Skills**
- SAP ERP (especially controlling) knowledge or proven rapid learning capability.
- Project management fundamentals (planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination).
- Financial controlling concepts: budgeting, cost tracking, profitability analysis, monthly close.
- Strong written and spoken French; fluent English.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Team orientation, rigorous, analytical mindset, and result‑driven attitude.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Currently pursuing or holding a Bac+4/5 degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- Training or coursework aligned with controlling, construction, or IT systems is a plus.
- No specific certifications required.
