Job Title: Full‑Stack Web Software Engineer
Role Summary:
Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications for medical device software, focusing on front‑end excellence while handling the full technology stack. Collaborate in cross‑functional Agile teams to deliver user‑centric solutions that meet regulatory and quality standards.
Expectations:
- Deliver high‑quality, scalable web solutions rapidly within regulated, Agile environments.
- Apply front‑end and back‑end best practices, ensuring code safety, performance, and maintainability.
- Communicate technical decisions clearly to engineering, R&D, quality, regulatory, and clinical teams.
- Maintain compliance with medical device industry regulations and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement new web features using TypeScript, Java (or comparable languages), and modern front‑end frameworks.
- Prototype, test, and analyze performance; optimize code for speed and resource usage.
- Resolve technical issues, evaluate alternative solutions, and document decisions.
- Lead research and feasibility studies to inform product design.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation: requirements, design, architecture, and test plans.
- Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and apply best practices.
- Work closely with R&D, quality, production, regulatory, clinical, marketing, and project‑management teams to achieve project goals.
- Continuously learn new tools, processes, and technologies relevant to medical software development.
Required Skills:
- Strong command of modern web development stack (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, frameworks, build tools, version control).
- Experience with static/dynamic analysis, memory management, code‑coverage tools, and software testing practices.
- Knowledge of SDLC in Agile, BDD/TDD, and regulatory (ISO 14971, IEC 62304, FDA 21 CFR Part 820) contexts.
- Proficiency in professional English (written & verbal).
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) or equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Preferable prior industry or internship experience in web development for medical devices or health‑care software.
- No specific certifications required, though experience with ISO 13485 or similar quality‑management standards is a plus.
