Job Description

**Job Title** Senior Engineer – Electronic Reliability and Safety **Role Summary** Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and reliability studies for complex electronic systems (optronics, mechatronics, power electronics, programmable assemblies). Ensure safety, performance, and reliability through the entire product life cycle, supporting projects across aerospace, defense, telecommunications, and space sectors. **Expectations** - Minimum 3 years of professional experience in electronic reliability and safety (RAMT, IEC 62380). - Ability to model, simulate, and mitigate operational and environmental risks. - Proven expertise in security‑related safety, including FOH/SOH and cybersecurity. - Capacity to mentor junior engineers and engage with cross‑disciplinary teams. - Mandatory proficiency in English; French acceptable but not required. - Eligibility for a security clearance (administrative background check). **Key Responsibilities** - Perform RAMT and safety analyses on electronic equipment. - Analyze subsystems (satellites, avionics, telecom) to understand functionality and limits. - Simulate operational scenarios to identify potential hazards. - Model and quantify risk drivers; propose mitigation measures. - Conduct predictive reliability studies (IEC 62380 methodology). - Manage risk aspects: cybersecurity, FOH/SOH, functional safety. - Provide technical leadership to engineering teams and contribute to the RAMS community. - Assist in development of safety case documentation and compliance reviews. **Required Skills** - Deep knowledge of electronic RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety). - Proficiency in risk analysis, fault tree analysis, failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA). - Experience with reliability forecasting tools and statistical analysis. - Familiarity with IEC 62380 and relevant safety standards. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary environments. - Bilingual in English and French (English required). **Required Education & Certifications** - Engineering degree (or equivalent) in Electronics, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Reliability Engineering. - Demonstrated experience with IEC 62380 standard (or equivalent reliability certification). - Valid security clearance (as required by client engagements).
