Job Description: **Job Title:** Senior Data Scientist **Role Summary:** Lead the development and deployment of advanced deep‑learning computer vision models for vehicle damage detection and classification. Spearhead improvements to data collection, annotation, and lifecycle processes, while guiding junior team members and contributing to new R&D areas such as 3‑D reconstruction and edge computing. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality, production‑grade CV solutions that surpass current state‑of‑the‑art. - Own end‑to‑end data pipelines, from acquisition and annotation to model training and evaluation. - Provide actionable insights from model results and propose continuous improvement strategies. - Communicate findings and technical guidance clearly in professional English. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, implement, and optimize object detection, instance and semantic segmentation models using PyTorch. - Enhance and scale data collection and annotation workflows to support model training and iteration. - Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, offering technical direction and best‑practice advice. - Document experiments, architectures, and deployment procedures comprehensively. - Explore and prototype R&D initiatives in 3‑D reconstruction, video pose estimation, or edge‑device inference. **Required Skills:** - Programming: Python, PyTorch, SQL, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy. - Version control: Git/GitHub. - Deep learning: state‑of‑the‑art CV techniques (object detection, segmentation, multi‑modal learning). - Data handling: experience building, cleaning, and annotating image datasets. - Methodology: Agile/Scrum development experience. - Optional: 3‑D/Video CV, SIMD/Edge computing expertise. - Strong theoretical foundation in computer vision and machine learning. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of individual contributor experience in data science, software engineering, or computer vision engineering (including PhD research if applicable). - At least 2 years in a senior or higher role. ---
