Job title: Amazon and Marketplace Manager Role Summary: Own and grow the Amazon Seller Central presence for a rapidly scaling UK food & drink brand, expanding from a single‑digit million‑pound revenue base to double‑digit millions, with a strong UK focus and recent EU launch. Expectations: Deliver measurable sales growth, maintain high seller performance metrics, and provide strategic insight into marketplace opportunities, while collaborating closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day‑to‑day operations of Amazon Seller Central, including inventory, pricing, and fulfillment. - Develop and execute Amazon advertising strategies (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display). - Optimize product listings (copy, images, keywords, backend search terms) for discoverability and conversion. - Analyse sales, traffic, and margin data to identify growth levers and forecast demand. - Coordinate cross‑border operations for UK and EU marketplaces, ensuring compliance with local regulations. - Collaborate with marketing to align promotional activities and brand storytelling across Amazon. - Monitor seller performance metrics (A+ content, reviews, feedback, policy compliance) and implement improvement plans. - Lead budgeting and spend allocation for advertising, inventory, and promotional campaigns. - Report on performance to senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations. Required Skills: - 4+ years of Amazon and marketplace management experience, preferably with a fast‑growing brand. - Proven track record of driving sales growth on Amazon. - Strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset. - Data‑driven decision making with proficiency in Excel, data visualization, and Amazon analytics tools. - Experience managing Amazon advertising campaigns and optimizing spend. - Familiarity with FMCG, sports nutrition, or similar consumer goods sectors. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field (preferred). - Certifications in Amazon Advertising or eCommerce management are advantageous but not mandatory.
