Job Description
**Job Title** Product Development Assistant **Role Summary** Support the Product Development team through the entire product lifecycle, from concept to production‑ready staging, aligning activities with seasonal calendars, supply chain strategies, and quality requirements. **Expectations** - Deliver timely, data‑driven support for seasonal finishes, commercial samples, and pre‑production tracking. - Manage multi‑season deliverables across multiple systems and tools. - Communicate effectively with senior directors and cross‑functional stakeholders across IM, e‑mail, phone, and text. - Maintain flexible availability to accommodate varying time zones and regional deadlines. **Key Responsibilities** - Coordinate seasonal finish development and commercial sample sequencing. - Track pre‑production status, compile submissions, and ensure compliance with manufacturing schedules. - Maintain and update data in spreadsheet and project‑management systems for deliverables spanning multiple seasons. - Document project progress, submit reports, and support quality and testing requisites. - Liaise with suppliers, production, and logistics teams to resolve issues and keep projects on track. - Facilitate information flow between senior leaders and operational units. - Perform data manipulation, analysis, and reporting using Excel (advanced functions) and other tools. **Required Skills** - Advanced Excel proficiency (complex functions, pivot tables, macros). - Proficiency in Word and Outlook for documentation and communication. - Strong data‑management and analytical abilities. - Project “scheduling” and organization skills; experience with project‑management tools. - Excellent written and verbal communication across multiple channels. - Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team. - Experience interacting with senior or executive leadership. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in business, design, fashion, textiles, or related field, **or** equivalent combination of education and experience. - Minimum of 2 years in a role that involved large‑scale data manipulation and spreadsheet use. - Background in product development, garment production, or denim development is preferred but not mandatory.
