Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Full Stack Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and deliver secure, high‑performance web applications and services for a large‑scale gaming platform. Serve as a technical subject‑matter expert, mentor engineering teams, and ensure compliance with architectural standards and product requirements. **Expectations:** - Deliver complex full‑stack solutions end‑to‑end, adhering to quality and security standards. - Mentor and coach engineers, guiding story breakdown, estimation, and sprint delivery. - Provide on‑call support for production incidents and drive continuous improvement of systems and processes. - Collaborate with non‑technical stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Write production‑ready, secure code across Java back‑end and React/TypeScript front‑end stacks. - Conduct code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipeline management. - Design, implement, and integrate RESTful APIs and publish‑subscribe messaging. - Evaluate off‑the‑shelf and custom solutions, recommending optimal options. - Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm). - Maintain microservices architecture, ensuring scalability and reliability. - Identify and implement improvements to services, tooling, and development processes. - Participate in on‑call rotation to troubleshoot and resolve out‑of‑hours issues. **Required Skills:** - Extensive experience delivering large web applications as a Senior Engineer. - Strong Java proficiency; experience with Spring Boot or comparable frameworks. - Expert in JavaScript/TypeScript; hands‑on with React or similar front‑end libraries. - Proven ability to build and consume RESTful services and messaging systems. - Automated testing expertise (unit, mock, integration). - AWS cloud services experience; familiar with managed services (e.g., RDS, S3, Lambda). - Infrastructure‑as‑code with Terraform; CI/CD pipelines (Git, Bitbucket Pipelines, Bamboo). - Version control (Git) and container orchestration (Helm, Docker). - Knowledge of microservices architecture and service mesh concepts. - Strong analytical, debugging, profiling, and performance‑optimization skills. - Excellent communication; ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect/Developer or comparable cloud certification.
