Focus on scalable GraphQL APIs, data integrity, security (GDPR‑compliant), reliability, and smooth CI/CD pipelines in a cloud environment. **Expectations:** - Deliver production‑grade features in a fast‑paced sprint with minimal context. - Ensure the system scales from 10 to 10,000+ users with consistent uptime and low latency. - Implement robust monitoring, logging, and incident response processes. - Make clear trade‑offs between speed of delivery and long‑term maintainability. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and build secure, GDPR‑ready backend workflows from intake to deployment. - Create high‑throughput GraphQL APIs and event‑driven services with idempotency and retry logic. - Design dashboards and reporting that maintain performance under load. - Own cloud‑native infrastructure on GCP (with minimal AWS for assets) using IaC tools (Terraform). - Write clean, testable code, perform code reviews, and maintain documentation. - Collaborate with frontend, product, and design teams to ship end‑to‑end features. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in Node.js with NestJS/GraphQL. - Strong experience with PostgreSQL and data‑structure design. - Solid understanding of OOP and complexity analysis. - Hands‑on with AI/LLM integration (e.g., Gemini or similar). - Experience with Prisma ORM, Terraform, and GCP services. - Reliability mindset: monitoring, logging, retries, incident‑aware design. - Knowledge of unit, e2e, and regression testing strategies. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
