Job Description
**Job Title:** Data Engineer (T-SQL, Python) **Role Summary** Design, optimize, and maintain data infrastructure, including databases, pipelines, and reporting systems, to support business operations and decision-making. **Expectations** Experienced in T-SQL, Python, and SQL database administration. Requires proficiency in building data pipelines, troubleshooting database performance, and maintaining data quality. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions - Design and implement efficient data pipelines and ETL processes - Support maintenance, monitoring, and performance tuning of SQL Server databases - Maintain and enhance SSRS and PowerBI reporting solutions - Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal/external standards - Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions - Contribute to best practices and standards for data engineering processes **Required Skills** - Advanced T-SQL and SQL Server (2016 or later) - Python for data processing, scripting, and automation - SQL Database Administration (installation, configuration, troubleshooting) - SSIS ETL concepts and data warehouse design - Experience with SSRS, PowerBI, or similar reporting tools - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Team collaboration and communication abilities - Exposure to Git, cloud services (e.g., Azure), and DevOps principles **Required Education & Certifications** - Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, data engineering, or related field - Certifications in SQL Server, data engineering, or cloud platforms preferred but not mandatory
